Who we are
LaunchDay Kit (launchdaykit.com) is made and run by Amit Kushwaha, an independent developer based in India. In this policy "we" means him. Questions or requests: message @amitkushh on X.
The short version
- Visiting the site: we measure visits with Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics. No ads, no ad tracking.
- Buying: our payment provider handles your card. We get your name, email and order details.
- Using the kit: it runs on your computer with your own Claude Code. We never see your product, your prompts or your logins.
- We never sell your data.
When you visit the site
Analytics. We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used:
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, referrers, country and device type. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
- Google Analytics 4 records which pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location (from a shortened IP address), and your device and browser. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga) to tell visits apart; they last up to 2 years. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We have not linked it to Google advertising features. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings, an ad blocker, or Google's opt-out add-on.
Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
Theme setting. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
When you buy
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, which acts as the Merchant of Record and collects your name, email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. We receive your name, email, country and order information so we can deliver the kit, help you and handle refunds.
Kit access. The kit is a private GitHub repository. To give you access we need your GitHub username, which GitHub processes under its own privacy policy.
When you use the kit
The kit is a set of files that runs on your own computer, inside your own Claude Code. Your product details, generated assets, prompts and the accounts you log in to stay with you and the services you choose (such as Anthropic for Claude Code and each launch site you submit to). We receive none of it.
Why we use your data
- To deliver the kit and its updates (contract).
- To answer support requests and process refunds (contract).
- To keep tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
- To understand which pages are useful, in aggregate (legitimate interest).
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Who we share it with
- Vercel: hosting and analytics.
- Google: analytics.
- Dodo Payments: payments, invoices, taxes and refunds.
- GitHub: access to the private repository.
We share data only as needed for these services, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Anything else, such as your GitHub username or support messages, is deleted when you ask or when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Message @amitkushh on X and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
LaunchDay Kit is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced on X.
